Cooking Instructions:
Use your own favorite pie crust recipe
Filling
- 2 cups pecan halves
- 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa
- 4 large egg yolks
- 1/3 cup Sweet Dreams
Rice Syrup
- 2/3 cup light brown sugar, packed
- 4 tablespoons butter
- ¼ cup cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Prepare filling by cooking all ingredients except pecans
and vanilla over moderately low heat to the point of boiling, about 5
minutes. Pour into a small bowl and add vanilla. Preheat oven to 350°F.
Arrange pecan halves, tops up, in a partially baked 9 inch pie crust.
Pour filling over pecans. Bake for 20-25 minutes. Cool before cutting.
